Heat From The Hammer's Signature Burger: "The Steelworks"

We've created a signature burger using 2 of Heat From the Hammer's products:  Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce and Heat From Above: Fiery Cheese Bites.  These burgers are juicy, delicious and very filling!


  • 2.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 8 slilces of pancetta
  • 1/2 purple onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup half and half cream
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • jalapeno Gouda, sliced into 1 inch squares 1/4 inch thick
  • lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 8 sesame seed Kaiser buns
  • French's Crunchy Onion Toppers
  • Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce
  • Heat From Above: Fiery Cheese Bites

1 - in a large bowl beat the egg.  Add the cream, salt, olive oil, chopped onion.

2 - add the ground beef to the bowl and start mixing.  While mixing add the bread crumbs.  

3- once the beef is completely mixed with the other ingredients make into approx 5 inch round patties approx 1/2 inch thick.  Press a slice of the gouda into the center of the patty and fold ever the edges and add more ground beef mixture to completely cover the cheese.  Make the patty firm.  Makes approx 8 patties.

4 - put the burgers on the grill and brush on a layer of Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce.  After flipping the burgers, coat again with Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce.

5 - when the burgers are almost done place a slice of pancetta on top and let cook for a couple of minutes.

6- cut the buns in half and place lettuce on the bottom, tomato, burger patty and spoon on more Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce.  Add a scoop of French's Crunchy Onion Toppers.  Complete with a layer of Heat From Above: Fiery Cheese Bites and add the top of the bun.
